1. Minimise dependency, constrictions, and conditions. Having no attachments allows you thrive in any situation.
2. Stop thriving for perfection. As soon as you achieve the standard, less progress is made with more effort.
3. Plan and research. Find what to prioritise and avoid misspent energy.
4. Listen to the advice you would give to a loved one. Often we know what’s best and are still mislead due to self manipulation.
5. Don’t repeat the same mistake. Write down mistakes and be conscious to avoid. If you cannot, then it is an addiction and you should seek help.
6. Manage your ego. Don’t allow pride to influence your decisions.
7. Don’t wait for the right moment to come to you. It will never feel just right or comfortable and you will never progress.
8. Don’t learn lessons when it is too late. Learn from other people’s failures and reputable advice.
9. Ignore judgement from those with nothing to offer. Be yourself and do what you want unless there is a threat.
10. Be autonomous. Pursue what you want and believe in. Don’t waste time on what doesn’t matter to you.
